Yesterday was an interesting day. I got to work and the power was out. It was pitch black in my office. It stayed like that for an hour and a half before they got it back on. I spent the time reading on my phone curled up on the couch in the entryway.
Then, found out we had visitors coming into the office, and I was not dressed for it. So I ran home for lunch and changed – and the visitors never got to the office before I left for the day. LOL
So then I came home and worked in my office for about an hour – got the bodice put back together and the skirt pleated – although I went to attach the skirt and discovered it was about 5in too long for the bodice in the back. Ugh so now I unpick and repleat it so it fits right.
Then we went out for dinner and saw A Hard Day’s Night at studio! It was awesome to see it on the big screen.
This morning I got up and messed with the dress a bit. Played with the sleeves. Here’s some pics.

So, tonight I’m re-pleating the skirt and getting it attached, and then I’m going to dye my undersleeves (fabric came yesterday).
I’m waiting on my new pearl trim for the undersleeves and trims for the front pieces to get here. If I had them for this weekend I feel like I could get it mostly done by Sunday. Fingers crossed.
